About Us
Our Story
Mielen Silta ry is a non-profit association founded in 2025 by a mental health and social work professional. We exist to support immigrant and multicultural families in Finland—especially mothers and children—who often face emotional, social, and cultural challenges during their journey of integration.
We offer culturally sensitive mental health support, peer-led activities, and safe spaces for open dialogue. Our programs focus on grief healing, parenting in a new culture, bullying prevention, and emotional well-being for all ages.
At Mielen Silta ("Bridge of the Mind"), we believe that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported—regardless of language, background, or belief. We build bridges of understanding between people, communities, and cultures.
Together, we work toward a more inclusive Finland—one healing circle, one conversation, and one family at a time.
